How do I get access to test Macrocosm?
Testing access is requested through the Community Hub. Accounts are created manually. Administration may ask a clarifying question, approve the concept, create the character, and send connection details and temporary credentials privately. Never post a password, server address, or private connection file publicly.

Which client do I need, and where are the connection details?
Current Windows testing uses MonkeyTerm with a Macrocosm XML connection file. Approved testers receive the file, address, port, and instructions privately. If MonkeyTerm reports a VBScript error, stop and record the exact line, column, action, and last safe text shown.

How are test characters requested and created?
A request should include a preferred character name, pronouns, people and homeworld, short background, profession or skill interests, play style, accessibility or communication needs, and themes to avoid. Auralae, Dante, and supporting staff review the concept, ask questions when necessary, create the character manually, and deliver credentials privately. It is a conversation, not an audition.

What can my character do for a living?
Careers include service, trade, courier work, cooking, shopkeeping, civic help, security, medicine, repair, science, crafting, salvage, appraisal, starship engineering, gunnery, and eventually licensed piloting. Work boards provide staged assignments tied to districts and organizations. Game Info contains the six peoples, attributes, skills, modifiers, and career examples.

Do negative test reviews receive a smaller reward?
No. The planned weekly review datapad rewards participation, not praise. Positive, negative, mixed, brief, and detailed completed reviews receive the same credits and reputation. Honest criticism does not reduce the reward.

What should I send with a MonkeyTerm VBScript error?
Copy the exact error, including its line and column. Include the command, alias, trigger, or batch item; the last safe output; whether the session remained connected; whether the action fails twice; and unusual punctuation or symbols. Remove passwords, private addresses, and connection credentials.

Does Macrocosm work with screen readers?
That is the intention. Macrocosm is text-based, and accessibility is part of the foundation. Website images should have meaningful descriptions, headings should support navigation, and game output should provide enough context for informed choices. The website should avoid autoplaying audio, dangerous flashing, and unnecessary motion. Report noisy, ambiguous, silent, or difficult areas with the exact command, location, and output.

What if my password is lost or my account stops working?
Do not create another character request and never post the password. Use the private support route supplied with testing access. Give the character or account name and the exact login error without including the password. Account recovery is currently manual.

Are every planet, ship, route, and advanced career ready?
Not yet. The current world already contains substantial character, district, job, report, reputation, housing, weather, time, ship, and salvage systems, but availability is still expanding. Particular boards, routes, ships, licenses, and advanced duties may be limited during testing.

Where should players discuss updates and review topics?
News & Updates is the official development log. The Community Hub is the player-facing place for access guidance, shared questions, and future discussions. A future in-game datapad may point to matching website topics; that automated bridge is not live yet.

What does 18+ mean for content and conduct?
Macrocosm may include crime, danger, coercion, violence, difficult choices, and unkind characters. The rating describes the fictional material and the judgment expected from adult players; it does not excuse harassment, cruelty toward other players, exposure of private information, or ignoring administrative direction. Keep character conflict separate from player conflict and communicate respectfully.
