Transmission 003: Six Peoples, Six Beginnings

Published on August 7, 2026 at 2:49 PM

Macrocosm’s character creator offers six playable peoples, each with a distinct homeworld, culture, and mechanical starting point. These choices shape the opening journey, but they do not decide a character’s morality, personality, or destiny.

Solarian — Adaptable and familiar, Solarians are the recommended first experience for players learning the universe.

Vaelari — Strong in perception, presence, and physical capability, with the Exquisite Palate trait reflecting their heightened senses.

Ursai — Powerful, perceptive, and enduring, with Predator Instinct supporting their alert, survival-minded nature.

Draconid — Immensely strong and resilient, with Natural Armor and Heavy Frame making their physical presence part of play.

Ravari — Hardy people shaped by stamina, salvage culture, and Environmental Adaptation.

Nyxari — Resilient, observant, and thoughtful, with Flesh Reserve and Flesh Renewal. Their unusual mechanics make them a better fit for experienced players.

Closed-alpha testing will help us learn whether these beginnings feel genuinely different, whether their mechanics are understandable with a screen reader, and whether every origin receives a fair and compelling route into the wider world. We will test all six rather than treating one successful character as proof that the whole creator works.

Which people feels most distinct to you? What needs a clearer explanation? Which trait sounds exciting—and which sounds confusing? Comments are open below, and thoughtful criticism is as useful as enthusiasm.

As the worlds turn, so do the stars continue to burn.
